El Primer Instinto

Since forming, the band has built a loyal following across the U.S. and performed throughout California, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, Tennessee, and beyond. Their sets draw on the Caifanes/Jaguares catalog, with songs such as Afuera, La Celula Que Explota, No Dejes Que, Viento, Antes de Que Nos Olviden, and Mátenme Porque Me Muero bringing strong recognition for Latin rock audiences.

Their connection to that catalog is reinforced by direct collaborations with original members of Caifanes and Jaguares, including Alejandro Marcovich, César “El Vampiro” López, Federico Fong, and Francisco “Frank” Cortina. Those collaborations have shaped a live approach that stays close to the spirit of the original songs while giving them fresh energy on stage.

For buyers, the appeal is clear: a tribute act with a defined lane, proven audience familiarity, and a set built around songs that span generations of rock en español fans. El Primer Instinto honors the Caifanes/Jaguares legacy while presenting it through a working band format that is easy to place for venues, festivals, and Latin rock bills.
