Bio
ROCANLOVER is a Los Angeles-based Zoé tribute formed by seasoned local musicians with a shared commitment to this catalog. The project began after they saw there was no consistent live outlet in their scene for Zoé’s sound and atmosphere, and they built the band around that focus.
Named after Zoé’s 2003 album Rocanlover, the group centers its set on the sonic textures and psychedelic feel that define the band’s music. Their material draws from key parts of the Zoé catalog, including songs such as Love, Soñé, Labios Rotos, Vía Láctea, and Arrullo de Estrellas, along with the broader arc represented by albums like Memo Rex Commander, Reptilectric, and Programaton.
Since debuting in 2015, ROCANLOVER has grown a grassroots following through live shows aimed at fans who want to hear this music played with care and precision. The performance approach is built as a direct homage rather than a loose cover set, giving buyers a clear tribute format with strong recognition for Zoé audiences and wider appeal for listeners discovering the band’s legacy.
ROCANLOVER has performed across California and in Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, and Texas. For buyers looking to place a Zoé-focused tribute on a bill, the act is easy to understand at a glance: a dedicated live celebration of a well-known Latin American alternative rock catalog, led by an established Los Angeles collective and refined onstage since 2015.
