The Selena Experience

Genessa brings a background that includes touring nationally with the all-girl pop group 3rd Faze, appearing on American Idol and It's Showtime at the Apollo, fronting New York cover bands, and contributing background vocals to Cheryl Cole's album 3 Words. That experience carries into a tribute built around both the music and the visual side of Selena's live performance.

The band was formed under the direction of bass player and band leader Lenny Rocillo, who had previously played with Genessa in other projects. He approached her to front the band, and the musicians were then hand-picked for the lineup.

The show expands on the concert feel of Selena's last Live album and is designed as a full tribute concert rather than a standard cover set. The focus is on recreating the look, sound, and live energy associated with Selena's music in a format that is easy for buyers to place as a dedicated tribute act.

For venues, festivals, and private events looking for a clear Selena-focused bill, The Selena Experience offers a concert-style presentation centered on the songs, performance style, and memory of the Tejano star.
